This is the first time I've toyed with this, so please mind the experimentation.
I just wanted to post a bit about a class I just finished that I really think is amazing.

Visual Communication.
Seems like a pretty innocent title...

This class was of course about what it sounds like it is about in that as artist we do and should lay our art out not only to impress or create statement, but also to illustrate out very speech and meaning. If we cannot communicate visually, then how can we operate in a successful fashion as artists?

This class required us to use markers to produce our work, which is far beyond any kind of medium I have ever worked with in basic drawing, and certainly in working with digital art. I had some trouble getting started, as I'm sure most people would, but once i got the hang of the way the markers work I was amazed at the fun, free, and solid way markers can produce not only basic drawings, but texture, light, and depth.

It is like painting in ink.

Last note...
Did you know they have CLEAR markers for blending purposes?
(Basically it's a pen filled with just alcohol.)
